Security software vendor Wallix is launching WAB On Demand (WOD), a privileged account security and traceability offering aimed at cloud service providers.
The massive adoption of the cloud generates new security requirements on the management of access to the information system. It is on this observation that the publisher Wallix has developed its security and traceability system for WAB On Demand (WOB) privileged accounts, which primarily targets service providers in cloud mode and hosts of sensitive data. Based on the technological base of the Wallix AdminBastion solution, the solution combines a multi-tenant architecture and a deployment adapted to cloud offers, without initial investment or fixed costs.
Once packaged within a hosting solution, WOD allows the service provider to secure its offers. The host maintains real-time control of the activities of the participants in each client environment. WOD makes it possible to benefit from the on-demand password safe and thus to manage the turnover of administrators, without having to reveal or share the passwords of shared accounts. The service provider will thus be able to guarantee its customers that only the right users have the right access rights and that their use is in line with the contractual conditions of service.
